Early Man Museum | Stillbaai, South Africa

The Stillbaai museum is an experiential space inspired by the form of boulders and the natural cracks that becoming gathering and respite areas in South Africa’s harsh landscapes. The building celebrates the areas rich heritage of rock art and the vulnerable caves they inhabit. The experiential spaces aim to bring new life to the exibits which include a variety of mixing pots, historical settings, tools and rock art paintings.
